Report: Mets Land Pitcher Johan Santana
The New York Mets have taken their first step on their way to recovery. The Mets have come to an agreement with the Minnesota Twins to trade for Cy Young Winner Johan Santana. In return, the Twins will receive outfielder Carlos Gomez and pitchers Phil Humber, Deolis Guerra and Kevin Mulvey. The deal is reportedly worth around $150 million over a 6-year period. After all the paperwork is done, all Santana has to do is pass a physical. This is a strong indication that the Mets will be a problem in the National League. Lets see how it all works out.
