Take a good look at the guy pictured above you. For those of you not in the know, this is our Homeland Security Secretary, Michael Chertoff. Mr. Chertoff is going to cut the amount of money New York City receives in anti-terrorism grants by 40 percent, from $208 million to $124 million. Where do you ask this money is going to? According to Chertoff, the money will be allocated to cities most at risk!

It shouldn't matter, it's not like we have much to lose. Chertoff says that New York has just four major financial assets that are at risk...and [drum-roll please]...no national monuments or icons! That's a low blow. Maybe New York doesn't deserve the money, we've only had over 3,000 casualties, and billions of dollars lost in the biggest terror attack on American soil in history. Please, please contact the Dept Of Homeland Security, and let your voices be heard.

British Prime Minister Tony Blair's next move might be to New York as the U.N. Secretary General, proceeding Kofi Annan, who ends his term on Dec. 31st. I don't see too much diplomacy in this choice, being that Blair was instrumental on the war on Iraq.

New York is ranked number 2nd most vulnerable to Hurricaines. Hurricaine season started June 1st, and ends in November. Experts are warning New Yorkers to stock items such as water and canned goods.
