Muslims in New York are furious over a Calvin Klein poster featuring Kate Moss that was put up opposite a mosque in the East Village. The poster shows Moss topless and grabbing a shirtless man, under Islamic law, Muslim men are not supposed to look at women who show off any skin unless they are their wives.

A teenage girl who triggered an Amber Alert after being abducted by Percy Williams, 39, at the Port Authority Bus Terminal, has been found safe in East New York, Brooklyn. The suspect however is still on the run, anyone with information on this abduction is asked to call the New York City Police Department at (866) NYS-AMBER or dial 911 to provide information on a report or sighting.

A group of New York City Starbucks employees filed a federal complaint against the coffee giant, alleging that complaints of rodent and/or insect infestations went ignored. Starbucks is singing a different tune, stating that "the latest tactic in an aggressive campaign against Starbucks and our partners that is designed to damage the credibility and good name of the company"
