A would-be mugger, attempted to rob a wheel-chair bound 57-yr old woman, but got the surprise of his life, when Margaret Johnson pulled out a .357 handgun, firing once and striking her mugger. Her attacker, Deron Johnson (no relations) was hit once in the elbow....get this..the victim was on her way to target practice...and the gun, fully licensed.

I always knew there was something in their coffee, now Starbucks is being sued, for $114 million, after canceling a free coffee coupon. The coupon was given to select employees, who were told to forward the coupon to friends and family, but when things apparently got out of hand, the Coffee giant decided to cancel the coupons. A 23-yr old "regular", has filed the lawsuit, claiming the $114 million is an estimate of the average cost of one daily cup of Starbucks coffee for all of the people turned away.

A New York man was killed and a 14-yr old traveling with him injured, after a high speed chase ended in a crash. The driver Adam Mauro, was being pulled over for driving eratically, but there was more in store. Mauro, had kidnapped the 14 yr old boy, and was obviously trying to avoid police, when he crossed a median and collided with an 18-wheeler Thursday, he was killed instantly, the young boy is listed in stable condition.
