Washington Square Park has made the news again, this time for a different kind of green; money. Three English-men dressed as Robin Hood, started a stampede by throwing a thousand dollars into the air. As $1 and $5 bills rained down, parkgoers kicked and punched each other to get their hands on the money.

Why would 3 men dress in green tights and throw money in the air you ask?

"I want people to have a little more common courtesy towards their fellow human beings. We hope this encourages people to give something back," said Oliver, the group's founder.

Not to toot our own horn but...beep! beep! New York leads the nation in Charitable giving.

The republicans have barely given up their seats yet, and the democrats are already stirring controversy. Congressman Charles Rangel, will introduce a bill that will reinstate the military draft.
