Basket-Brawl

The Knicks vs Denver game erupted into a brawl with 1:15 left in the game, on Saturday. Leading by 19 points, with their starting line-up still on the floor, Denver Nuggets began showing off by repeatedly trying to dunk.

Rookie Mardy Collins took exception to this and distastefuly fouled Denver's J.R. Smith. After that a mini-riot ensued with Nate Robinson (he's only 5' 9") displayig a heart of a lion in the land of the giants. The NBA's leading scorer, Carmelo Anthony, sucker punched Collins, prompting Jarred Jefferies to chase Anthony around the court. While violence shouldn't be condoned, events like this not only wake up the sleeping beast in teams like the Knicks, it helps them take pride in their team. I guarantee you that every player will wear their heart on their sleeves every time they step foot on that court.
