Police are asking for your help in finding Melinda Dash, a 15-year old student, reported missing on December 8th. Melinda was last seen traveling to Canarsie High School from Bergen Street in Brooklyn.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.


Cindy Sheehan, mother of an US Soldier killed in Iraq, and one of the biggest opponents of the war In Iraq since then, was convicted of trespassing in NYC today, for leading a protest across the street from the United Nations. A judge sentenced them to conditional discharge and ordered her to pay $95 in court surcharges.

"Twenty-five soldiers were killed last week while we were in court wasting our time."

The bodies of Wayne and Dianne Guay, who had been missing while traveling to NYC from South Carolina for the holidays, were found yesterday.The car had crashed off I-95 in North Carolina and was found in a swampy creek off the highway.

"We actually got more assistance from the NYPD than from the [South Carolina] Horry County Police Department."

Mayor Bloomberg mayor of 2006, is worried for residents of 2030? Bloomberg stated that our population will rise by almost 1 million by 2030, and this is something that we should look into now. Traffic delays, over population, budgeting problems, all problems that could spiral out of control in the future. Bloomberg is saying all the right things, hopefully future mayors can carry the torch.
