World Aids Day 2006

Today, Friday December 1st, is World Aids Day. This day is celebrated as an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV and AIDS.

Corporations worldwide have adopted (RED) in order to show support. Ipods, Converse, American Express and even The Gap are offering red products, which are being sold to raise money for Aids awareness.

There are many ways to participate in World Aids Day. You can educate friends and family on the importance of safe sex habits, and going to a doctor regularly, and have them pass it forward. You can also donate directly to the National Aids Trust.
