NY Republicans threaten to impeach Gov. Spitzer
State Republicans have threatened to impeach New York Governor Eliot Spitzer, if he does not resign over a report linking him to a prostitution ring. Questions are being raised over whether he could face criminal charges."The payments were made over a period of several months in a way that investigators believe was intended to conceal their purpose and source, which could amount to a crime called structuring," punishable by up to five years in prison, the NY Times said.
Man...He did all of this just for a little sexual seduction? Spitzer has embarrassed himself and the Democratic party. The man is currently holed up in his Manhattan home, he needs to put an end to this circus immediately. Wasn't the look on his wife's face at the press conference priceless?...
