David Blaine has unveiled the details of his latest stunt, set to begin this Tuesday, November 21st at 10 am. The famous illusionist will dangle from a hook five stories above Times Square while shackled to a spinning gyroscope.
The Gyroscope, with Blaine strapped tight to it, spread-eagle, will spin 8 times every minute, for 2 days. On top of that there will be little to shelter the magician from the cold weather. After 2 days of non stop spinning, and braving through the cold winter weather, Blaine must release himself of the shackles.
Target has challenged Blaine to escape the stunt, by 5 a.m. Friday Morning. If he does so, he will accompany 100 children from the salvation army, to a shopping spree at Target, each family will receive a $500 gift card. We will definitely have pictures of the event as it unfolds, so stay tuned.
